Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order now runs better on PS5, Xbox Series X/S

One of the best games of 2019 will receive an update to improve the experience on consoles in 2021. Electronic Arts Edition released. new patch Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will improve performance to take advantage of the powerful Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5 consoles. This update is currently rolling out.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order now has improved frame rates on PS5 and new Xbox hardware. These consoles also now run the game at a higher resolution on average. The game also gets sharper post-processing effects on Xbox Series X and PS5, but not on Xbox Series S.

So what does it all mean? Well, here are some features:

  • Xbox Series S now runs Fallen Order at 60 frames per second, which is above the 45 average frame rate.
  • Xbox Series X Performance Mode now runs at 60fps with dynamic resolutions ranging from 1080p to 1440p.
  • The Xbox Series X Quality Mode upscales post-processing to 4K resolution and runs the game in dynamic resolutions from 1512p to 2160p.
  • The PS5 runs at 60fps, which is also above the 45 average. Post-processing is done at 1440p, and Respawn has turned off dynamic resolution in favor of a solid 1200p. That is, from 810p to 1080p.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is still available as part of an EA Play subscription for $ 5 per month. If you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, EA Play (and Fallen Order) are included in that membership.
